Fintan is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MIACP). He obtained a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Zestlife College in 2015 and a First-Class BSc Hons degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from IICP in 2020. He holds an advanced certificate in couple counselling, has run marriage and other courses and has worked with young people in various capacities.
Fintan works with individuals and couples in a collaborative and pluralistic manner, incorporating a person-centred and psychodynamic approach, using a variety of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy, Schema Therapy amongst others. He offers clients a safe, supportive, and accepting environment that is confidential, free of judgment, dealing with a wide range of issues such as abuse, anger, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues and self-esteem.
Fintan is passionate about personal transformation and is also on the path to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He supports his clients in achieving their goals, developing self-worth, inner security and the freedom to act from their true selves. He is married to Elaine and has five children.
