Lisanne has over 12 years of wide clinical experience working as a psychotherapist with adults through both online and individual in-person therapy. She provides a non-judgemental, authentic and compassionate stance to help clients experiment with making changes, and moving in a direction that matters to them.

Lisanne specialises in treating Trauma, OCD, anxiety and depression, including post-natal depression. She also works with relationship difficulties, life transitions and stress behaviours.

Lisanne’s primary approach is using ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy / CBT – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), to help people people handle difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations. She combines ACT with ERP (Exposure-Response Prevention) in the treatment of OCD and anxiety.

Lisanne’s interest in these areas has led her to facilitated a OCD Ireland support groups for 13 years, and serve in child protection committee for 4 years.

Lisanne is a fully accredited member of IACP (Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and a member of ACBS (Association of Contextual Behavioral Science).
Lisanne spent 14 year living and working overseas with Aid Agencies in different countries in Africa, and 3 years with an aid agency in Ireland. She holds an Advanced Diploma Development Management.
