Andrew McGrane
Integrative Psychotherapist
Andrew is a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist (fully registered with IACP) holding a BA(HONS) degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from IICP. Andrew has significant experience working with adolescents, parents and in men’s mental health.
Andrew’s areas of expertise include stress, anxiety, depression, hopelessness, family & work relationships, and issues related to anger. He is skilled in supporting individuals/families through educational challenges (as experienced in school/college), life transitions at all ages, and career change and development. Andrews own professional knowledge and experience, and indeed his own personal life experience combine to enable him to assist clients achieve greater insight and perspectives into their challenges, and how they might be resolved and/or integrated into their lives. Andrew strongly believes that a non-judgmental, supportive, and warm approach creates a safe and trusting environment in which to work.
Therapeutic approaches used by Andrew include Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT), Positive Psychology, Systemic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Psychodynamic.
