Clare Murray
Counsellor / Psychotherapist
Clare holds a Masters in Adolescent Psychotherapy, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is also a fully accredited member of IACP.
Clare goal is for her client to feel welcome, relaxed and supported as they engage in therapy. Beginning therapy can be a vulnerable and nerve-wracking experience, and Clare pays special attention to creating a warm, accepting and judgement-free environment, in which every client can feel safe and fully understood. She works collaboratively with clients to help them embrace their full selves, to explore the tools they need to understand their story and find healing. She loves working with people from all walks of life – and especially young women and adolescents.
For the last number of years, she has worked as part of a team providing pastoral care to secondary school students, as well as with a national organisation that seeks to empower young women.
