Lisanne O'Loughlin

Lisanne has over 14 years of wide clinical experience working as a psychotherapist through both in-person therapy and online therapy. Lisanne specialises in treating Trauma, OCD, anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, stress management, to help people manage difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations and problematic behaviours. Lisanne’s primary therapeutic approach is ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy / CBT – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and she has extensive training in and draws on other therapeutic approaches including Compassion Focused therapy, ERP (Exposure-Response Prevention).
Lisanne’s also has an interest in teaching skills to manage anxiety and has co-facilitated groups for primary school aged children in social skills, managing anxiety, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. She works with children and adolescents therapeutically. Lisanne has facilitated support groups for 15 years and in child
protection committee work for 6 years.
Lisanne is a fully accredited member of IACP (Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and a member of ACBS (Association of Contextual Behavioural Science). Lisanne spent 14 years living and working overseas with Aid Agencies in different countries in Africa, and 3 years with an aid agency in Ireland. She holds an Advanced Diploma Development Management.
