Niamh O'Donnell

Integrative psychotherapy and counselling

Niamh’s practice focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and warm environment where clients feel heard and have the freedom to explore what’s going on for them. Niamh works with adults dealing with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief and relationship difficulties.
Niamh has a particular interest in the area of depression, motivation and self-esteem issues. She has undertaken research specifically into underlying negative core beliefs and low self worth. Depending on whether the problem is a recent issue that is impeding your current life or an unresolved problem that has persisted since childhood this can be explored with an aim of increasing self compassion.

Niamh’s approach is integrative and practical, drawing from modalities such as person-centred therapy, psychodynamic theory, attachment theory and CBT, and is tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

Niamh went through her own transformative journey through therapy and realised the profound healing that can be found in therapy. Having always had a desire to help others as well as a strong sense of empathy for others, Niamh aims to provide a space where clients can find healing and hope of their own.
