These include humanistic, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic and family systems amongst others. Petra’s counselling experience extends across a wide range of issues including abuse, anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, sexual identity, stress and trauma.

She has a special interest in neurodiversity and has spent many years working in the education sector supporting adolescents with autism and additional difficulties.
