Rachel has over 14 years experience in social care and community settings, bringing a strong relational foundation to her approach as a therapist. Her background includes developing family-centred programmes, managing individualised service and support plans, and supporting young people in residential care, as well as adults with intellectual, physical and complex health needs. She is a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Rachel provides a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. Working from an integrative, person-centred approach, she adapts her work to meet each individual’s needs. She believes that feeling heard, understood and safe within the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change.
Rachel is near the end of her final year of a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at IICP College, having completed her required clinical training hours, and is working towards full accreditation. She also holds a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapy Studies from University College Dublin and a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Studies (Social Care) from the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown.
