- Accredited member of Association of professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists
in Ireland.
Sandra helps clients to clarify issues, gain perspectives, develop self-awareness, consider, and implement choices that promote healing and wellbeing. Sandra provides Adolescent Psychotherapy (I have extensive experience with all teen issues), Individual Counselling and Couple Counselling in her practice. Sandra believes that
the client has their own answers to their issues but needs the empathy and caring environment of the counselling process to access these answers.
Sandra is passionate about working with adolescents and works closely with the teens family to support the young person with their issues (anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, separating families etc.) for over 12 years. She uses the creative contact of sand tray work, art therapy etc when working with adolescents to enhance the therapeutic contact.
Sandra has worked with couples for 12 years having trained in Relationships Ireland, Merrion square. Sandra has also worked as a Psychotherapist in secondary schools supporting adolescents in their many struggles through their stages of adolescent development. Sandra uses CBT, Psycho-dynamic and Integrative Counselling approaches in her work.
Sandra works compassionately and non-judgmentally with her clients to lead them through their issues to self-actualisation. Counselling is an effective process which can help free clients from obstacles to their personal growth. It deals with these issues and allows clients to have a better quality of life. The insights clients gain will impact on every area of their life and remain with them forever.
