Counselling and psychotherapy IACP

Jacquie provides a caring, confidential and non judgemental space for her clients. She believes the therapeutic relationship, where a person feels safe and heard, is the key to success in counselling.

Jacquie is a registered general nurse having completed her training in St. Vincent’s Hospital Elm Park in the mid eighties. She has a vast amount of experience working with vulnerable people and their families who are often going through very difficult frightening times in their lives.

Jacquie has experience working with loss, grief, bereavement, illness, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues and self esteem and trauma

Her approach is integrative, whereby she incorporates person centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and schema therapies.

Jacquie believes  ‘Every moment is a fresh  beginning.’
